SSlotSheet

Questions organisers actually ask

Do parents need an account?

No. They add a name and email. The confirmation email has a private link to cancel or switch slots. Organisers sign in with an email link too — there are no passwords.

Is the free plan ad-free?

Yes. Free sheets never show ads. They do show a small “Made with SlotSheet — create your own free” line, which is how other organisers find the product. Paid plans remove that line.

What counts toward the 3-sheet limit?

Open sheets that belong to you, not to a school group. Close a sheet when the event is over and the spot frees up. People already on a closed sheet can still read it.

What happens when a slot is full?

The next person joins a waitlist. If someone cancels, the first person waiting is marked confirmed and emailed.

When do reminders go out?

About 36 hours before a slot that has a date and time. Organiser and School plans can choose 24 or 48 hours. Slots without a date don’t get a reminder, because there is nothing to count down to.

Can I collect children’s emails?

Don’t. Use a parent or guardian’s name and email. SlotSheet is not built for student accounts.

Can more than one person run sheets?

Yes, on the School / league plan at $15 a month. The owner invites other organisers by email.

Do you take payments for tickets or dues?

Not in this version. The sheet is for people and slots. Keep money in whatever system your treasurer already uses.
